Cold Calling
We use consumer marketing data from both experian(tm) and infoUSA(tm) to build
your telemarketing file. We use an exact science based on household count,
percent of non-published phone numbers and emulation of the pattern of
assignment used by the local telco to build the most complete and accurate
database in the business. All things being equal, the quality of the list can
decide the success of your campaign. We use the best quality lists.
In our experience this is the way to set up for cold calling and build your
market data-base. We first scan in all local phone books for the calling area in
to our custom made OCR (Optical Character Recognition) program. Our IT team will
turn each phone book into three column data-base file. That file contains the
name, address and phone number of each person listed in the phone book.
We then purge that file of all current customers, non-pays, internal DNC’s,
State DNC’s and National DNC’s.
We then use our proprietary OCR program to convert the yellow pages into a
database of all the businesses in the community, and purge those numbers.
Next, we send every residential phone number we have in our data-base (AND ONLY
THE PHONE NUMBERS, NO NAMES OR ADDRESSES EVER LEAVE OUR FACILITY) to both
experian(tm) and infoUSA(tm) to build your telemarketing file. They compare our
numbers to the residential phone numbers they have, and they send us the data
that we are missing. We scrub those lists and add them to your telemarketing
file. We then have the most accurate data-base to operate from. Our operators
will then contact these remaining numbers. We dial in Sequential Order, then put
your community on a strict, six month rotation.
New Resident Campaigns
New residents are an excellent source for home delivery subscribers. We work
with a variety of sources (including the phone companies) to obtain the best new
resident data available.
Stop - Saver Campaigns
The old adage, "Your last customer is your best customer" has certainly proved
true in the newspaper industry. Contacting customers who have stopped their
paper is vital to a comprehensive circulation sales program. Many times these
were "impulse" stops, based on a service problem, editorial disagreement, or a
stack of unread newspapers. Our department will help you get them back!
Upgrade Campaigns
Upgrading your Sunday or weekend customers to 7-day service is one of the
quickest ways to add paid circulation.
Paid In Advance Orders/ EZ Pay Orders
WE RECORD! As required by the FTC's Telemarketing Sales Rule it is mandatory to
record the authorization of, or have written consent from the customer when
debiting a consumer's bank account. For everyone's protection, we record. This
plan allows you to automatically charge the subscription payment to your
customers’ checking, savings, or credit card account on the due date each month
Non-Pay to EZ-Pay Conversions
This strategy requires having us call your non-paying customers and offering a
premuim for signing up for EZ-pay.
